I’m an Indian-American woman, born and raised in Dubai, whose journey through India, New York, and now Dallas has only deepened my love for travel, backpacking, classical music, opera, and crème brûlée. But more than anything, Christmas holds a special place in my heart. Not sure if it's the feeling of sitting by a warm, cozy fireplace with twinkling Christmas lights or just the deep sense of peace that comes with the season, Christmas fills me with warmth. Spending time with my close friends, family, and extended loved ones brings me immense joy—especially when it involves plenty of laughter and festive gatherings.

I’m a lover of Frank Sinatra and Christian Gregorian chants, and I follow the Catholic faith, not out of tradition, but due to personal encounters with Jesus Christ that have shaped my life over the past four decades.

My love for Christmas and holiday decorating has been with me since childhood. I’ve always been captivated by beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and over time, decorating became my way of expressing that festive spirit. As I moved from city to city, my passion for creating beautiful, cozy, and inviting spaces grew. Friends and family began to notice the unique touches in my holiday decor, and soon, they started seeking my help in decorating their own homes.
At the same time ....more or so around COVID, I also started my personal blog as a way to express my thoughts and share my experiences. What began as a platform and space to reflect on my life and style, gradually attracted a small community of readers who resonated with my thoughts and experiences as well as my ideas about creating peaceful, joyful spaces. I love connecting with people, offering them ideas for decorating their homes for Christmas and beyond. Moreover, my personal passion for transforming my own home during the holidays eventually turned into a desire to help others experience that same warmth and wonder. I realized that many people love the idea of a beautifully decorated home for Christmas, but they don’t always have the time, energy, or inspiration to bring it to life. That’s when I decided to extend JJ Monde' to offering a full-service interior Christmas decorating service in 2022, to bring my creativity and passion to others' homes and businesses.
